This Privacy Policy explains how MyPayPicture (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our website and tools. We take your privacy seriously and have designed our tools to collect as little data as possible.

Financial figures you enter into the tools

The calculations in our tools (salary, pension contributions, tax figures, etc.) are processed entirely within your browser. We do not store, transmit, or retain any financial figures you enter. When you close the page, that data is gone.

AI chat messages

When you use the MyPayPicture Assistant chat feature, your messages are sent to our Cloudflare Worker backend, which forwards them to Anthropic's API (Claude) to generate a response. Messages are processed in real time and are not stored by us. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to how they handle API requests — see anthropic.com/privacy.

Email address (if you submit the lead form)

If you voluntarily submit your email address via our lead capture form, that data is collected and stored by Tally.so on our behalf. We use it to send relevant information about MyPayPicture. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

Analytics data

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our tools. This collects anonymised data including:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Which tools are used and how far users progress
• General location (country/region level only)
• Device type and browser
• Traffic source (how you found us)

We do not use Google Analytics to collect any personally identifiable information. IP addresses are anonymised. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Payment data

PDF report payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe. See stripe.com/gb/privacy for their privacy policy.

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — analytics, expire after 2 years
• No advertising cookies — we do not run ads or use advertising cookies
• No tracking across other sites — we do not track you outside of mypaypicture.com

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

7. Data retention

• Financial tool data: Not retained — processed in-browser only
• Email addresses: Retained until you request deletion
• Analytics data: Retained by Google Analytics for 14 months (default)
• Chat messages: Not retained by us

8. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS. Financial calculations happen in your browser. Chat messages are transmitted to our Cloudflare Worker over encrypted connections. We do not store financial data on any server.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
