About MyPayPicture

Built for people who
deserve clarity.

UK personal finance is complicated. It shouldn't have to be. MyPayPicture exists to give everyone access to the kind of clear, honest financial insight that used to require an expensive adviser.

👤
The Founder
Founder, MyPayPicture
I built MyPayPicture because I kept seeing smart, capable people making avoidable financial mistakes — not because they were careless, but because the information they needed was scattered, jargon-heavy, or locked behind a paywall.

The tools on this site are the ones I wish had existed when I was trying to work out salary sacrifice, understand my pension, or figure out whether the Child Benefit charge applied to me. Plain numbers, plain English, no upsell.

I'm not an IFA. I don't give personalised financial advice. What I do is build tools that help you understand your own situation clearly — so that when you do speak to an adviser, you arrive informed.

Our principles

🔎
Transparency
Every calculation is explainable. We show you the numbers and the reasoning — not just an output.
🔒
Privacy
No data is stored on our servers. Your figures stay in your browser. We don't sell your information.
⚠️
Honesty
These are illustrative tools, not financial advice. We're clear about that on every page, not just in the footer.
🇺🇰
UK-focused
Built specifically for the UK tax system. 2024/25 rates, HMRC rules, and real UK benchmarks throughout.

⚠ Not financial or tax advice

MyPayPicture provides illustrative calculations based on 2024/25 UK tax rates and publicly available HMRC guidance. The tools are designed to help you understand your situation — not to replace professional advice.

MyPayPicture is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Nothing on this site constitutes personalised financial, tax or legal advice. Always consult a qualified financial adviser or accountant before making decisions about your pension, tax, or remuneration.

Calculations are based on standard UK rates and may not reflect your individual circumstances. We do our best to keep figures current but cannot guarantee accuracy at all times.
